If anyone were to ask my family, they will tell you there are two phrases I absolutely hate..."I'm fixin to..." and "that's the way we've always done it."
Now, the question is, why do I hate these two phrases? Because the first one means you're not moving yet. And the second one means you're not planning to move because you don't want to change.
If you want change in your life, real change, you have to move past the "I'm getting ready to" stage. Move past "I'm getting ready to look for a job", or "I'm getting ready to go back to school", and the biggest one, "I'm getting ready to make a change in my life. "
You have to shift from getting ready to actually moving and taking action. If you want to see something different in your life than what you have always seen you have to do something different.
It's a simple equation. You want to see something different. You have to do something different. 2020 was a year that forced us into a lot of inactivity. It forced us to be still. We're no longer in that environment. Let's finish this year taking action!
